Nemesis

He was an intrusion, of absolute proportion; penetrating her world after ingesting her soul in words; adjusting his intention to mirror her verse; and yield to him she did, as a scent on the breeze. He fooled and beguiled, wrapping her so tightly in his web of illusion, so as to not draw breath, in [...]

Death Trap

She doesn’t seek his memory, it just comes creeping; and when it does, that’s all there is.
Its nothing to do with fear or inspiration; building a fan base that was there long before he was; or anything at all for matter of fact. For who would dream of seeking such hurt.
Its simply a means of [...]

He left her

He left her hanging
A Monet with no River Seine
He left her barren
An open book with no pages
He left her questioning
A riddle with no answer
He left her doubting
The truth of her very existence
He left her incomplete
Energy work only half started
He left her drowning
Gasping for breath within his mire
He left her broken
To sift the pieces of her [...]

Of human connections

He was
The sum of
All fear
And for a
Moment
I loved him
Madly

Insanity’s Final Adieu

His was a miserable life; wandering the globe pretending to be lost, feigning insanity due to all sorts of abuse; self-inflicted, youthful demons victim, to any and all who showed the slightest inclination of interest. In truth, he knew exactly where he was going, what the cost would be to get there; needing only to [...]

Processing and purging

Hearing the truth
The ugly truth
Trying hard to process
What it really means
Was always a bitter pill
But somehow easier to swallow
At least when there was something
A reason on which to blame
Delusional
Madness
Insanity
Lunacy
An innate inability
To deal
To cope
To live
To feel
A falsity I now
Am forced to ingest
For the veil has been lifted
On his façade of mental illness

Ovation

She waits
Wonders
Pines
For love lost
Just as we
All did
The same
Love
The same
Lies
Differing his pain
His troubled past
To fit each
Woman
And circumstance
Depending
On what he
Needed
Or knew he could
Take from them
I offered up the
Group of support
Gathered in the
Wings
Patiently waiting
For her to
Walk off the
Stage
She isn’t yet
Ready
Still believing
He is
Who he
Says

Illusion
She believed
From the beginning
That he
Was the one
He knew all along
She was just
One
Of many

Faded scars

I feel for her.
Sort of.
Maybe not so much.
I want to warn her.
Sometimes.
Never mind.
Let her learn the hard way.
Would do no good anyway.
Earn her badge among the ranks.
Ugly scars like the rest of us wear.
Or rather wore, I should say.
Mine are gone now.
How about yours?
